Hola----

In kindergarten we are reading tiene/to have and putting it into sentences. We are also using vocab words like casa/house, camisa/shirt, zapatos/shoes, pelota/ball, bicicleta/bike and using the verb juega/play.

In first grade we are learning about le gusta/like, come/eat and the correct use of DE(belongs to). 

Second graders are plugging that material into complete sentences using Yo/I and Tu/you.

Third graders are gaining an understanding of discussing modes of transportation and asking questions in Spanish.

Fourth graders are working on plural conjugations and speaking in complete Spanish sentences. 

Hola amigos....

I hope to see you all there at the Fall Festival!! I'm excited to see who will kiss the secret animal :)

We are spending some time outside in el jardín on Tuesday's......It is always nice to enjoy el sol, plantas, los amigos and help out in the garden while speaking some Español.

We are learning tons and enjoying learning Spanish. Ask your child about our good bye song and how we can tell the year/2015 in Spanish.  Hoy es....

We are also discussing a few celebrations that are celebrated in Mexico. Mr. Boland will be creating a cool project with the 4th graders, while we discuss the meaning behind The Day of the Dead and what it looks like in Mexico.    The students enjoyed listening to the story in Spanish.  

In the rest of the classes we are still practicing our old vocabulary and adding new words to our everyday Spanish language.

septiembre y los colores

Hola Amigos----

It is already Septiembre 😀😀 

In Kindergarten we are focusing on colores and los saludos. We are singing, dancing and learning our vocabulary!
